Fatehgarh 3 Beawar Transmission Line (F3BTL) is a power line project envisaged by the Government of India and to be executed by sterlite grid. The project is being implemented to evacuate RE power from Fatehgarh complex through Fatehgarh 3 power station to meet power demand.
FIII BTL will involve construction of a 350 km, 765kv D/C transmission corridor from Fatehgarh III to Beawar passing from 6 Districts (Jaisalmer, Barmer, Balotra, Jodhpur Gramin, Pali and Beawar) in Rajasthan.
F3BTL project will facilitate power supply from Renewable Energy (RE) zones in the state, thereby helping avoid future load shedding and provide for future industry power needs. Further, the development of transmission infrastructure through F3BTL will help reduce deliberate reduction in generation of wind and solar power to maintain demand-supply balance. This will maximize the renewable energy (RE) plant output, thereby enhancing viability of RE projects in the state. This will further help attract investment in the RE sector of Rajasthan, which will indirectly stimulate industrial development, and create employment opportunities, thereby boosting the state economy.
Transmission lines are safe for human beings, environment, and property. The transmission line will have no adverse impact on the agricultural produce. You can continue farming activities beneath the line. Also, we have maintained the minimum ground clearance as per electrical safety guidelines of Indian electricity act 2003 and optimised the route in such a way so that minimum tree cutting can be ensured for the transmission corridor.
Tree/Crop compensation will be paid to legitimate Beneficiaries in accordance with applicable state guidelines and Central Government rules and Regulations.
Electricity does not run through transmission towers. Electricity runs through conductors only and conductors are connected to the transmission tower through the isolated medium called as insulators. So even if you touch the transmission tower, you will not get electric shock. Also, the transmission line is protected by fast acting relays and circuit breakers which operates within 500 milliseconds thus providing sufficient protection.
F3BTL project has no adverse impact on environment. Sufficient bird flight protectors are being installed throughout the line in order to protect the birds as per Supreme Court (SC) order.
Land acquisition is not required for transmission line projects. So, no land will be acquired for F3BTL project. The land title will continue to remain with the original land owner. Only, ‘Right of Way’ is required as per the provisions of Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, Indian Electricity Regulations 1956 and Indian Electricity Act 2003 and subsequent amendments. Yet, tree/Crop compensation will be paid to legitimate Beneficiaries in accordance with applicable state guidelines and Central Government rules and Regulations.
In recent years, new capacity across the solar value chain become necessary to support the PV market’s growth. However, the capital required to establish and scale-up wafer, solar cell and solar module manufacturing facilities.
